ARCLYFT™ DME/O&P MARKET INTELLIGENCE

Help Payers Understand the Differences That Matter in Your Products

Health plans and other organizations responsible for DME/O&P may see a brand, a billing code and a price without seeing the product and service differences behind them. Help ARCLYFT understand the distinctions within your portfolio, where your products differ from alternatives, and what those differences mean for the people and services being evaluated.

Discuss Manufacturer Participation

See how product evidence informs a decision

Begin With a Conversation

Manufacturer enhanced profiles are in development. Today, you can discuss participation and share public product information; we will explain the next step that is available. A company contact, the relevant product families and a short explanation of the distinctions you want understood are enough to begin. You do not need to assemble a full evidence package before making an inquiry.

Three Useful Ways to Contribute

Within your portfolio

Explain which product differences matter for particular uses, populations, features or service requirements.

Against alternatives

Identify a specific comparator and the evidence supporting a meaningful distinction, including its limitations.

Across a category

Show where your portfolio offers breadth, specialization or supporting resources relevant to the decision.

Manufacturer information is attributed and evaluated alongside other evidence; participation does not determine ARCLYFT’s conclusions.

How Information Is Used and How Independence Is Protected

Manufacturer information is attributed to the manufacturer and kept distinct from ARCLYFT's independent research, so a reader can see which is which. It is assessed alongside other evidence—product documentation, coding and classification records, coverage policy and operating practice—when ARCLYFT advises healthcare organizations on product, formulary, network and contracting questions. Contributions can improve the accuracy and completeness of that understanding. They do not buy a conclusion: participation does not guarantee coverage, formulary inclusion, recommendation, referral, preferred status, a public profile or commercial access to any organization, and review of a contribution does not mean its claim has been verified.

Clients pay for ARCLYFT's work, not for a predetermined answer. Manufacturer-supplied material is assessed with the same standards as every other source, the same submission standards apply to every manufacturer, corrections are welcome through the contact you provide, and no manufacturer has editorial control over ARCLYFT's conclusions. Please do not include PHI, claims, negotiated rates, contracts or other confidential information; if sensitive evidence is ever needed, we will provide a separately authorized process.

Evidence to Prepare for a Follow-up Discussion
  • Identification — manufacturer and brand; exact model and version; U.S. market status; category and subcategory.

  • The comparison — another product in your catalog, a named competitor product, or a portfolio-coverage question.

  • The distinction — what differs, and the specific population or use case where it matters.

  • Support — product specification or instructions for use; applicable clinical evidence with population, comparator, endpoints, limitations and funding; the limits or trade-offs of the distinction.

  • Service requirements — fitting, training, maintenance, consumables, compatibility and support.

  • Distribution and support — direct and distributor channels; which commitments are the manufacturer's and which depend on the vendor.

  • Provenance — source dates, attribution, any limits on how the material may be used, and a contact for corrections.

Experience from patient care to payer relations

Our founder, Spencer Doty, MBA, CPO, is a board-certified prosthetist/orthotist. His leadership at Active Life and payer-relations role at SuperCare Health brought extensive experience across O&P and DME—from the work of delivering care to the questions payers need answered.
